What is the Age Calculator?
The FinanceDeck Age Calculator tells you your exact age in years, months and days from any date of birth — plus total days and months lived. It's useful for form filling, birthday countdowns, insurance underwriting and simply for curiosity.
Manual age calculation is surprisingly error-prone when month lengths and leap years enter the picture. This tool handles every edge case automatically so the answer is always precise.
How does it work?
The calculator takes your date of birth and today's date, then subtracts year-by-year, month-by-month and day-by-day, borrowing correctly whenever the current day or month is earlier than the birth day or month. Total days and months are computed independently for cross-check.
Result updates the moment you pick a date. You can also use it to compute age at any future date by combining with the Date Difference Calculator.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it account for leap years?
Yes — the calculator uses actual calendar dates, so 29 Feb births and every leap year are correctly handled.
Can I calculate age at a past date?
Not directly, but use the Date Difference Calculator with DOB and the target date to get years/months.
Is my birth date stored?
No. All computation happens in your browser; nothing is uploaded or logged.
Why does insurance ask 'age nearer birthday'?
Insurers round age to the nearer birthday for premium tables. This tool gives you the exact age; add 6 months and check if you round up.
